This weekly podcast addresses the issues that keep us awake at night. Am I a good enough mom/dad/spouse? Am I living up to my potential? Am I giving my kids what they need to be successful in life? What will my parents need from me as they age? Am I a good co-parent? How can I handle confrontations better? All of these things make life difficult and uncomfortable! Let’s lean into all the uncomfortable and yucky stuff to find a path forward to a life we really want to live. (Music by Joe Calindrino, “September’s Realm”)
Am I making the right decision. Am I enough as a mom or dad? Could I have handled that confrontation better. Am I doing enough in my marriage. Or my kids getting the foundation they need. This will be a weekly podcast coming out on Wednesdays. Some shows will be me and some will feature a guest. Through the last 20 years of ministry, the most impactful work I've done has been supporting people as they lean into and overcome the uncomfortable, difficult stuff that life has put in front of them. Some things are difficult and uncomfortable by choice. For instance, choosing a new career. Or going back to school dating again. Or reconciling a fractured relationship. Some of the things that are uncomfortable in life are not by choice. Dealing with grief. And loss. In fertility. Cancer diagnosis. A loved one suffering from dementia and Alzheimer's. Divorce. And infidelity. I have witnessed the difference it makes for people when they have the encouragement and the tools to really lean into the uncomfortable spaces and experiences and come out the other side. Now as a pastor preaching and teaching the Bible and faith formation are essential aspects of what I do. These foundations are central to building a life. However, the biggest transformations come when people take these foundations and lean into the uncomfortable, difficult stuff with the support of people who genuinely care for them. That I believe is the most impactful work I've done. in this podcast, we will hear stories from special guests that will give us inspiration and encouragement to overcome that. Uncomfortable stuff in our lives. If you are listening to this podcast, you are probably facing something difficult and uncomfortable in your life. My sincere hope is that this podcast will be impactful for you. That it will give you the encouragement, hope and tools you need. So that you can lean into the uncomfortable stuff and come out stronger than before. Grow yourself. And grow your life. To make this podcast even more impactful. Drop me a line and let me know. What's uncomfortable for you in your life. What is keeping you up at night and together we will pursue it. And you will overcome it.
